Get the power of commands on your java enabled cell phone/PDA
and have your Unix/Linux server always in your reach. Use
MobiSSH a SSH client on devices.
You could now perform tasks
on your server even when you are away from your desktop and
you do not have access to dial up also.
MobiSSH provides you
accessibility to your unix/Linux server in a manner you never
had before and you could attain new levels of service that
you provide.
You could connect to any number of servers from
your cell phone/PDA. Any server that you connect will automatically
get added to the list of servers.

MobiSSH comes in two flavours |
|
| |
 |
Standalone Model - This
model allows you to connect directly to your server from
your device. In case of multiple servers you need to open
SSH port of all the servers to be connected in firewall.
Generally this would be useful for those who have smaller
number of servers. |
| |
|
| |
|
 |
Enterprise Model - This
model would use Ryatech Control Server and all the requests
are funneled through that and you would need to open only
one port for Ryatech Control Server. The protocol followed
will be SSH end to end. |
| |
|
|
|
| |
The type of model to be used depends on your
security concerns and the network architecture. It also depends
on the support model being followed like are the system administrators
allowed to connect to any server remotely through SSH?
The Enterprise model would also help you to connect to Unix/Linux
servers that do not have static IP. |
